What Waste Code is an admin-managed directory of permitted waste facilities in the UK.
Organisations submit their details once during onboarding. All listings are reviewed and approved before publication.
There are no user accounts or dashboards. All listing management is handled by our team.
The Listing Process
Getting your waste facility listed involves four steps: submit your details, complete payment, pass our review, and your site is published once approved.
Managing Your Listing
What Waste Code operates as a managed directory.
There is no login area for organisations.
To request changes:
- Email our team with the details of the update.
- If your permit has changed, attach the updated PDF.
- We will review and update your listing.
- Significant permit changes may require re-verification of EWC codes.
Subscription & Billing
Billing Structure
You may choose:
- Monthly subscription
- Annual subscription (discounted)
Your subscription covers:
- Hosting of your listing
- Permit review
- EWC code verification
- Search visibility
- Enquiry routing
Additional sites are billed per site.
Subscription Status & Visibility
Listings are only visible while the subscription is active.
If a subscription is cancelled, becomes past due, or expires, all associated sites are unpublished automatically.
Listings can be restored upon reactivation, subject to review.
You can cancel by contacting our team or via the Paddle Customer Portal.
Environmental Permits & EWC Codes
Your listing is based on your environmental permit.
We extract EWC codes directly from the permit documentation you provide.
Only verified and approved EWC codes are shown publicly.
If you believe an EWC code is missing or incorrect:
- Contact our team with clarification.
- We may request supporting documentation.
Data & Compliance
What Waste Code stores organisation data securely within the UK and Europe.
We operate in accordance with UK data protection regulations.
If you wish to request deletion of your listing, remove your organisation from the directory, or have other data-related enquiries, please contact us via email. All associated data will be permanently removed.
